We'll be playing at the Hog's Trough Saloon on Friday, October 14th. Come on down and join the party.

The NE PGM Festival has moved - September 26, 2005

Unfortuantely the NE PGM festival has been moved to Club 125 in Bradford, MA for saturday's show, and to The Paladium for Sunday's show. We are booked at the Paladium on Sunday, October 2, 2005. We're on at 12:20, so if you're not too hung over from saturday try and make it down bright and early :). For tickets (good at both venues) send an email to contact@fromtheshadowsmusic.com so we can make arrangements. Tickets are $25 at the door, but we'll hook you up for MUCH less.

Next Show-- Saturday, Septermber 10th - September 9, 2005

Next show is Saturday, September 10th, 2005 at The Hog's Trough. Show starts at 8:00pm. Hope to see you there.

NEPGM Fest Needs Help - August 25, 2005

Basically, Lowell city management is trying to shut down the New England Punk, Goth, and Metal Festival because it might draw a "different sort of demographic" and it would be cool if you could sign a petition to keep the festival going. We've been looking forward to playing this festival for quite a while and we'd hate to see it moved.

Please sign the online petition.

The full story is on the NE PGM Fest Main Page.

Your help is very much appreciated.

Scheduel Update - July 25, 2005

We've changed Friday's date at The Lucky Dog to The Hog's Trough Saloon. Also playing are Jaded, Dipthong, Bottom's up, and Judas Preist tribute British Steel.

In other news---

First the bad:
We've had some problems with recording equipment back when we first started production of our first album so we've had to delay the project. Some time back in March or April I had a couple of mic's go bad, then once those were fixed, the hard drive on the recorder started making all kinds of noise. It has been a real frustruating couple of months. What made matters worse is we were planning on keeping show dates to a minimum while we were recording which left us with practically nothing for the summer.

Now the good news:
We finally have begun putting down drum tracks. All mics are now in exellent condition, and I also took the opertunity to upgrade the entire system and the recording is already a million times better than any of us had ever anticipated. So far Jim has layed down tracks for five songs leaving eight more to go. Hopefully we can start on guitar tracks by the beginning of next week.

We will take over the earth one of these days:)!!!!

Til then-
Cheers

I'd like to thank everybody who made the trip to Reflections on the 26th to support us for Battle of the Bands. You guys were a big help, both for us and in supporting the festival.

June 26th has been Moved to Reflections - June 16, 2005

Our next show on June 26th was originally schedueled for Evos Arts center has been moved to Reflections Lounge in Chelmsford, MA. This is still part of the NE Punk, Goth, and Metal Festival tryouts and could actually turn out to be a better show than at the Evos. Tickets are going to be $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Reflections is a great venue though.

Show Update - June 3, 2005

Because of work sceduels we've had to cancel the June 11th show at Club 125, but on Sunday afternoon, June 26th, we'll be playing at Evos Arts center in Lowell, MA. This is a battle of for a spot on the New England Punk, Goth, and Metal Festival on October first and second at Spinner's Stadium in Lowell. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. I'm working on getting a paypal service so you might be able to order online, hopefully within the next couple of days. Right now it is just mail order which makes things a litte wierd, but it's what we've got for now.

April Fools Day News - April 1, 2005

Happy April Fool's Day

This day is to celibrate all those fools out there, driving, reporting the news, saving the whales, giving peace a chance, and running our government. I'd like to thank you all for giving so many comediens out there sooooo much material and making us laugh so much.

This day's for you.

Happy April Fools Day

Last Minute Show-- TONIGHT - March 26, 2005

We'll be playing The Hog's Trough Saloon tonight at 9:00 pm. Sorry this is so last minute, but we were just asked this morning.

We're also booked April 30 at The Trough. Check the calendar for more info.

Also, we will be doing a couple of things once a month through the website to keep things interesting. We're not sure about all the details yet, but we'll probably be giving stuff away and telling some details about the stories behind some of our songs, how they were written, or something along those lines so come back April 1, and everything will be announced.

New Artwork and Samples - March 8, 2005

Sorry it took so long for since the last posting, but we've been getting ready to record our first album.

There is a little bit of a new look for us right now with a new banner and some (slightly more) correct spelling in the navigation bar.

Samples of Admission to Hell, Final Rights, Zero Hour, Fallen, and Swords of Victory are finally up. Finally! Still no lyrics yet though. Oh, sorry about the Lo-Fi, I've been having trouble with the Hi-Fi samples. For some reason they sound kind of scrambled. I'll put them back up when they're fixed.

Run To the Hills tour update - February 9, 2005

In case you haven't already found out on their website, there has been a little trouble getting the Run to the Hills tour dates confirmed. Two venues have gone out of business since the dates were booked.

We'll let you know when they are confirmed once and for all.
